About Expressions Dance Company
Expressions Dance Company is committed to producing dancers who are versatile, well educated in both technique and expression, and who are strong, authentic young people.
We believe every young dancer has the ability to increase their physical, emotional and intellectual wellbeing through dance. Our aim is to provide an environment which balances the demands of training with creativity and care, while allowing for individual growth and expression. We are committed to being an inclusive, friendly, family orientated studio with quality tutors who care about the dancer’s individual needs and to nurture young people through dance – to guide students to develop into well-balanced human beings, with a strong ethical sense – well fed in body, mind and spirit.
Our classes start at age 3 with Baby Ballet – lots of imagine based dancing with props, stories and plenty of sparkles. Dancers move through Grade 1 -5 in Ballet, Jazz and Tap as they grow and develop. All classes have an focus on technique, expressing our self through music and movement and fun. For committed and dedicated dancers we have a Performance Company – a specialised group who learn stagecraft and have additional training as well as performing regularily.
